This is what I used. In searching, you can still find them but they are hard to find. Apparently they have been discontinued for some reason which is news to me. I got them straight from Jegs.

You can always go with the Stage 8's, just a little more tedious to install properly.

And the JBA's seemed to help my mid to top end a bit more since I am blown. Also added a more healthy sound to the exhaust note.

Gotcha. From a lot of others I read that are n/a trucks they got low end torque back as well as a smoothed out power band

Well I ordered the JBA shorties today for and my mechanic quoted me 400 worst case scenario but he said he highly doubts it will end up costing that much (fingers crossed). So now I can't wait til they get put on haha

Those look familiar lol, looks good

Did you get some good gaskets and bolts? I remember I paid right around 400 to get mine installed. My mechanic said it was a PITA haha, but lets hope your guy has better luck with the install.

Yep he said he was gonna get the parts for me I just had to bring him the headers, I told him to get the ford oem gaskets which he agreed and he said he was gonna get the bolts once he sees the headers. So I can't wait til next Thursday! Haha

And if you don't mind, do you have the stainless yourself? And if so how are they holding up rust wise? Cause I'm here in WNY and as you know this is one of the worst areas for a truck cause of the salt haha

Good deal. Yeah the Ford gaskets are more expensive but well worth it in the long run, nice choice.

I believe I have the same exact headers you do, they are T-409 stainless. T-409 stainless has more ferrous material in it compared to T-304, so it will develop a layer of surface rust with time. From what I understand, it is not nearly as prone to rusting through as regular steel or aluminized steel however. Salt will definitely increase the rate of corrosion, but I can't comment on that as my headers have never seen salt. I left them in their raw form, and after a couple years they have a very light layer of surface rust on them. If you are concerned about the salt, maybe look into having them ceramic coated or painted with a quality header paint.

well my truck's been in the shop since Thursday and it's been a nightmare for my mechanic. he had to cut the manifolds off cause the nuts were so rotted, one of the studs broke an 1/8th of an inch inside the head, my egr tube/valve was wasted rotted (could this have caused the worse gas mileage i was noticing?) and a couple more problems. so hopefully i get it back tomorrow i just wanna drive it! lol

I just ordered a pair myself, the jba stainless, and are not only cOming in the mail today but going on as well. My mechanic and I are putting them in since I'm helping he said 150-200 for the install.
I would like to know how it sounds? Hopefully a little better my exhaust already has a nice tone to it except for the tick, rotted egr I fixed with some furnace cement foil tape and hoseclamps. Things around the house that didn't cost anything and lasted till now.
I got everything ready, clamps, egr, studs and gaskets and I'm more excited than Christmas.

well i'm bringin the truck back in tomorrow cause they're still leakin, especially the passenger side so my mechanic said to bring it back so he can make them quiet (he had one hell of a time installing them a first time si he said he's gonna take em off and reinstall them). but they definitely do sound better than factory manifolds. i have a sido dynomax bullet and idle is definitely a bit louder, as well is the exhaust through the whole rpm range i'd say, and it adds healthier exhaust note. it also got some low end tq back i lost from putting on the duals. all in all i'm happy with them, i just can't wait til they're not leaking anymore

All my nuts came right off the studs, and then the studs came out, guess it's good I started spraying it 6 months ago every week or two with pb blaster... I knew they were comin off this year and figured it would only flare up if I drove it right after. Mechanic said it was the easiest ford manifolds he's ever removed...

Stopped last night bc it was 80 degrees and the beach and bikes were whining we were not using them. So a bike ride was in order. The installation is in progress now

good! you'll love em. but i on the other hand didn't have the best of luck. turns out my flanges for the pipes leading to the cats are also so rotted that they don't seal right anymore so those are leaking and now i have to go to a muffler shop. any idea how much this will cost anyone?? but oh well just gotta deal eith it for now although it does suck cause i don't enjoy driving my truck that much when it sounds like that.
