Thanks! I know it doessn't now or never will have a v8 growl, but I have a 440 Chrysler with 2.5" thrush welded and a 406 Stroker magnum through 3" Flowmaster super 44's to supply me with that!

doesn't seem like they inflate their numbers too dramatically. On one of the forums they stated that the EB and 5.0 exhausts are nearly identical stock and the stock system is fairly good for the 5.0, but leaves a lot to be gained on the 3.5L.
I'm not trying to be a butt head about it but after working with some dyno before and after its really hard to believe some of the numbers the manufacturer's put out there....

If you like your exhaust then that's what counts!

Even if 42 hp is a over inflated number I would be happy if it just added 25 which I am sure it does. Turbo motors get huge performance numbers with intake and exhaust upgrades. The 4in flows really good on the Ecoboost compared to the stock system. I'd really love a full 4in turbo back exhaust! Talk about some huge power gains! Anything that helps the bring air in and out of the motor increases the efficiency of the turbos which produces more power.

V8 guys: Don't hate! Until you've compared your half ton loaded to this Ecoboost loaded don't say negitive things. No need for backseat drivers or negitive nancys!

I wil be happy to give anyone a ride and show you the power of this truck while pulling 7k pounds. It does it with style and class.

And yes it will never have a V8 sound but it does sound awesome when when those turbos are spooled up and whistling!

I wouldn't waste your $ on banks stuff when it comes out. Gale banks does some cool innovative stuff with their project vehicles but imo all their public offererings are so so. They are made with quality materials and look shiny but have never been anywhere near the top of their competitors offerings. Just ask the diesel guys. I laugh when i see "banks power" badges on trucks. Have you seen their non turbo gas exhausts?? 4"-4.5" piping!! talk about zero exhaust scavenging! The heartthrob looks to be actually made with thought and product testing go with a company trying to prove their place in the market not a company that relies on its big name and shiny products.

Thanks good to hear. I know they do take a lot of time to make them really good looking but that's all I know about Banks. I do have a close friend with a really expensive kit on his cummins. They replaced pretty much every engine component except for block and heads. It runs great with suprising fuel economy even while pulling 37in tires.

More than likely I'll go with heartthrob. Might talk myself into really soon!

If it was a one off complete build im sure they did there r&d and did a good job. Just the off the shelf stuff is not the greatest. More about show and sound. Just offering my advice since ive wasted a lot of $ trying out a ton of different setups and size dia to see what works.
