There is a thread that was posted a month or two ago. The OP liked the MBRP but there was some drone.
Leave the oem exhaust on if your looking for a boost in power. Go with a Corsa or Borla if you want an exhaust note.

oem exhaust will give me better power then aftermarket? im thinking about just deleting the resonator.

Another question on the f150 5.0 do you need to get a tune if you buy a cai

The only gains I've ever seen from exhaust mods are longtube headers.....all the rest is propaganda bullcrap stuck out there from the manufactures....

Most economical way for a better sound is to cut out the factory bs and install a borla along with a filler pipe and add a tip on the remaining stock tailpipe....

Yes a programmer with a custom tune should be utilized when a slot style maf OEM orientation is changed in the air intake pathway....

There is no power gains from cat-backs alone. OEM exhaust on '09+ are the best flowing they have ever been. Unrestricted at the bends and joints, and a direct flowing 28" muffler. Exhaust kits are just pure tone changing for the 09+.

As for custom tune for an intake, I am not certain just yet, however it is still a modular block design, I would tune it to be safe and to get full expected power gains from the intake.

I'd be careful tuning as dealers will most likely coid your warranty.

And just something I've noticed, there are more options than Borla and Corsa. It jumps from brand to brand like nobodies business. This exhaust forum is so bandwagonish.
