I have a mandrel bent 3" single exhaust with a 3" in/out Magnapack, with Y piped tails. Stock manifolds & stock cats, and it makes some good noise!

Thanks Darren. Im assuming that with my 4 cat and duals setup it would be softer than your setup if i were to leave the rear cats and replace mufflers with magnapackw?

Yes it wouldn't be as loud as mine, but not far off. My bud's '04 FX4 has a Cherrybomb Extreme exiting lightning style on his 4 cat system, and my truck is very much louder. Hack out those rear converters and it will be much better.
