I'm not too proud of my Ford, am I?

Been a while since I first posted in this thread, thanks for all the comments everyone! I'm happy to say I still LOVE this exhaust It sounds a little meaner than when first installed, it's broken in really nice. I'll have to get an exterior video up soon for you

Awesome sound dude. I've had a simple SIDO flowmaster 40 set up for a few years now on my 5.4 and i'm thinking of going more performance set up like yours. How much did all that cost you? pipe size? and where did you buy your magnapacks from? Thank you sir.

ok and sorry for asking BUT what exactly is a "magnapack?" That is the cylinder shaped one correct? Is magnapack just a performance muffler given a cool name? I just gotta know.

Round-bodied Magnaflow muffler.

14" case size, 4" diameter.

My exhaust tips are bigger than my Magnapack. lol

Here is the Magnapack I have:

ok yeah that's what I figured, but thanks! I'm also wondering if I should just save myself a considerable amount of money and just go with a single magnapack 3" in/out and just get a y pipe to the tailpipes and tips.....it's hard to decide because I want duals really and X pipe but money is important too lol.

Well, I run a SI/DO and have no complaints. 08FX4 also ran a SI/DO. The true duals still seem quieter outside to me (From the videos I have seen...again, they are just videos though.

I've run a SI/DO Magnapack, SI/DO XR-1, and SI/SO Corsa DB.

I do want an XR-1 because well it's Borla and they rock. I don't know anyone near me who has a Borla set up. Most people here have Flowmasters like me, but i'm changing. I'm also getting hi flow cats to wake it up a bit.

If I went with Borla, is this the one I need?

Seems right to me, round body, 3" in/out, etc.

I had the oval 12", but the round one you pointed out will work as well. The 40085, I believe, is a little louder/more aggressive than the oval offering.

Very nice sounding truck... Did you feel any pick up after just doing the high flows? Truck seems fairly quick for what I'm assuming are maybe 35's?
