support for air intake??

support for air intake??

Ok was trying to do the gotts mod or at least to see about it.

How does the support come apart for the MAF or airfilter????

Does it just pop off,,, just got to pull real hard????

not sure what you mean,,, but its a 5.4 air intake. right around the maf and air filter,,, there is a support bracket that supports it.

How do you get the support undone from its mounting point. Its on the the under side of the bracket. Or to put a C A I.

Well dam i figured it out,,, just pull hard!!!! Oh its the part that the air filter goes into on my truck,, that has the support i am talking about to nobody.

Some of you have said not to run CAI's without a tune on 3valve 5.4's because it runs too lean; particularly '04/'05 models. What's the difference between them & the '06-later?
