Need more info. Don't know the bend types, pipe material, or the muffler.

Looks like the MBRP. Dont expect to gain noticeable tq or hp with an exhaust.

I put magnaflow SIDO dual rear exit, straight out the back on my '10 5.4. As a favor to a buddy the other day, I towed his camper from the repair shop home for him. WOW, what a HUGE annoying rebound noise I got off that camper. If I had any intentions on towing a camper for personal enjoyment, I would not choose this set-up of mine. That said.... it sure is pretty.

That's why I opted for 45s out the back...haven't tried it out yet but I'm hoping that keeps my ears from being rattled out of my head. Straight out the back, bouncing directly off a trailer? Ouch...

If that's an MBRP system they make a good solid product and it's well worth the price you pay for it. Had mine on my truck for a year now and I love it.

Hey DSQ ,,do you get alot of nosie when towing...it is MBRP,That you can put on yourself at home. I was wanting a little more hp and torque when I tow. camper weights around 8000 loaded. Truck does real good except the real long grade (Sams Gap) its just to many curves and I cant keep my speed up. Thanks for alls imput

A simple cat back won't offer anything noticeable, especially when towing. Some mods that will help are gears, programmers, headers with full exhaust work, and forced induction. Everything else is a placebo.

x2. Cat-backs will only offer sound, and highway economy. With the 2009+ with the shorty header like manifolds, 2.75" exhaust and OEM free flowing mufflers all they offer is sound.

Get 4.10 gears and/or a custom tune if you want more tq for towing.

As stated. Exhaust will offer not much more than noise. If it is power your interested in, then look into LT headers and a custom tune.

Yes. They are t-409 which will surface pit/rust but won't rot all the way through for many years to come.

My truck get's a ton of drone towing at 2200RPM and above only because it's a straight pipe with no muffler or cat. Yes I put mine on in the driveway and it took me about four hours just because I was fighting with the up pipe on the turbo and to get it aligned right. But a gas truck cat back is an easy 1-2 hour job and that's all it took me on my F150 when I put my Flowmaster kit on. It will help a little bit just because it will flow better but as Darren and others have said you need to add gears and tuning to take full advantage of it.
