wickednicky.com = for real???
I want a pro xs muffler from wickednicky and an exhaust tip they got in their ebay store but they didn't answer me when I asked if they shipped to Canada : ( anyone got any other sites I can check out for a pro xs muffler at a good price
I actually just ordered a Borla Pro XS SI/DO muffler for $99.99 from StreetSideAuto.com. Great service. I received the item quickly. Haven't installed it yet because I'm dragging my feet on tips. But I ordered the magnaflow y-pipe from them as well and happy with the speed of service. Way cheaper than anywhere else for that muffler. Wickednicky was $119 for the same muffler. Summit is now $216 (was $99.95 a month ago). Hope that helps.

Why the y-pipe though? Am I missing something? I figured all I'd need is the muffle and I'd let the shop do the piping and tips I preferred.
Yeah the y-pipe is probably unnecessary. I bought it to replace the stock y-pipe you find where the piping from the cats comes together prior to heading to the muffler. So I plan to have the shop cut it out, add 2.5" pipe to the existing pipe and then install the magnaflow y-pipe. From there run 3" intermediate pipe to the Borla muffler, then 2.5" exit pipe to the tips. Just having a hard time deciding on tips and exit locations. Wanted black with an exit at 45 degrees behind the wheels, but I just can't find exactly the black tip I want. Was considering painting my own, but don't know how durable it would be in that location. So now I may tuck like KR-Texas did on his Raptor. Still want black tips though. So struggling a bit!

I've struggled with that as well actually. I think I'm just going to stick with the chrome magnaflow rolled 4" tips. I considered buying them and having them powder coated. But I have chrome on my truck that I will never change to black so I think the tips will look fine.
thx Russ I'll def. check them out. I'm just gonna go with a SI/SO setup, don't want it too loud. I've been searching hard for a black tip as well, let me know if you find anywhere good for those too and i'll do the same!
Item distributors pay a lot lower price than us every day Joes pay. They make their profit on parts regardless, it all depends on how much they want to make. Ordering from the manufacturers website direct your just asking to get ripped a good one. They charge what they believe their research and product production is worth of the product. Their distributor companies like Summit and Performance Peddler buy them at distributor cost and sell them at their own profit gaining preference, and to beat someone elses deal usually.
Hopefully summit will match wickednickys price - they got the Borla 40358 for 153$ plus like $40 shipping since i'm in Vancouver BC. I might just have to go with a magnaflow 11236 which I can get here for like $60. People on here seem to be happy with it, but I was leaning towards the pro xs
Yes... and no. It's taking some getting used to. It's louder than I thought it would be. I'm not completely sure if I'll keep it or change to another muffler/find a way to calm down the resonance inside the truck. Don't get me wrong it's not terrible. It's just more than I had in mind. My idea was to avoid having a exhaust that if people were in the back seats that they would have to speak up in order to for you to hear them in the front.
At idle it's great and even when you are barely on the gas pedal. But going from a stop is
