ticking sound and muflers

so theres a shop im gonna take my exhaust to and get the ticking noise sorted out. if they fix it they have a lifetime warranty so all i gotta do if it messes up is take it back and theyll fix it again free.

when i go im gonna have him put a x pipe in my exhaust and put some mufflers on. i have obx lts to the resonators that come with the obx lts to maggie hi flows then tru duals all the way out. well i dont want my truck to blow up cause of one side of my motor working harder b/c of the tru duals so im gonna have a x pipe put in... then after it im gonna have two borla pro xs mufflers installed.. my exhaust now is loud really loud and pops and cracks every time you get on the gas till it shifts out of it so i want that gone i want it quieter but still farely loud. how quite will it be with the two borla pro xs and will it cackle pop and is the x pipe a good thing to add? i already have so much going on under there i dont wana over do it... i got most of my info from the over the loudness thread and i didnt wana hi jack it so this is my questions thanks guys

Dudes that a beast setup! It will sound really good, and plenty loud. AVFROG has dual pro xs's with no cats, but stock manifolds, and his truck sounds meeeeeean. Make sure you exit it good and dont ruin it with turndowns.

You will not blow up you engine because your running duals. Come on now.

Are you not running any mufflers at the moment? There is a guy here with dual pro xs and lt's. Can't remember who though.

And yes, install the x pipe. Smoother sound with less crack and pop.

Nope. Only the clutch packs and transmission will hurt from the duals along with the 35s if not properly re-geared for them.

i want the xpipe cause of the less crack and pop reason i was leary of the blown motor is my friend has identical truck to mine with stock manifolds and no cats tru dualed out and hes rough on his truck revs it up alot always flooring it when he takes off and his is about to blow it is in so much worse shape than what it was. and i baby my truck so i guess its him just treating it bad. and yeah i love my setup its just loud and i cant hold a conversation in my truck without raising my voice. plus my girlfriends neighbors dont enjoy me waking them up at 12 at night when i leave her house ... good attention getter to bad i get more unwanted attention that wanted

Roll with the Pro XS and an X pipe. I think you will enjoy the new aggressive Borla tone.
