obx lt's with stock exhaust

I'm replacing the 5.4 in my truck right now and while I have the motor out, it seems like the opportune time to put on some obx long tubes when I reinstall the motor. When I get it all back together, Id like to drive it around town a few days to make sure all the kinks are worked out from the install, and I probably won't be able to get to my exhaust guy for a few days to do my hi flow cats, x pipe, and magnapacks. Id like to reinstall the rest of my stock exhaust if possible, does anyone if it'll bolt up or if ill need to do some fab work?

With what you are wanting, it will have to be all fab work. That being said. If you keep the stock system, from manifolds to tailpipe, it will all bolt back up.

I know stock will bolt back up... But I'm not going through the install of the lts after the motors in if I already have the motor out. Just looking for something that could get me through a few days making sure everything right and before I can get to the muffler shop. Guess it'll be open headers a few days..

Open headers will be ok for a few, that exhaust will sound wicked once completed.

yea, I know it will be ok, but open headers get annoying enough on my mud truck after about 5 minutes, I could only imagine driving around town...
