I have an 06 with the 5.4 and im wondering if im going to gain decent numbersin hp and tg with the airaide wide open modular tube, and edge evo. Planning on a dynamax single system with pacesetter shortys along with 4.10s in the near future. Was gona try the jmod but didnt know if was worth it on my truck. Will i notice a difference with just the intake and edge or will it take everything else. and is the jmod worth it in my truck.

 

#1 you need a custom tune for your intake

#2 the dynomax systems usually use the "turbo" muffler(not really high flowing)

#3 Why the dge and not a custom tuned unit?

x2, no power gains unless custom tuned. Well, no 'noticeable' gains, and no lean condition threatening ones for 3v 5.4Ls.

 

custom tune with longtube (not shorty) headers will gain you 30 hp 35 tq. Add some 4.10s and your truck will definitely get up and go. Shorties do nothing for performance, only add a minimal sound increase.
