MAF - maybe ...

My '03 died at a red light but restarted right away but run rough now. I have to keep my foot on the gas at red lights to keep it running. Had Autuzone run the computer on it and came up with OEM PO174 and PO171. I took the MAF out this afternoon and cleaned it with MAF cleaner. It was not that dirty. Air filter looks good. Also cleaned PCV valve but I still have to play with the gas at red ligts to keep it running. I am not a professional mechanic but I try to do everything myself (if I can). Could my MAF need replacing or could it be something else? i'm open to suggestions. Thanks

I started reading older threads and saw a lot of you out there had talked about the 90 degree turn from the PCV in to motor by the firewall. Sure enough my hose has a hole at the elbow. My problem now is I can't get the elbow to come off. there is very little room to get my hands in there... Any suggestions?
