X2, he is too lazy to do it the correct way. The Y pipe needs pulled out, so the assembly from the down banks needs disconnected from the manifolds. Its a bit of labor, so he is not wanting to do it. Some just don't care about the many hours of labor they can charge, they hear how much work is involved with that they talk you out of it and into their chinese quality product instead.

If you find someone willing to do it the correct way, just be ready to pay for it. A direct fitting, exhaust leak free job is worth it. These cats will, and have fit. It can be done.

Delayed response I know. Everything went smooth. I did not need 02 extensions. Only cost $70. Not much of a sound difference, somewhat louder at startup though.

They are the same 9" body, 94136 has an O2 mount, only difference. That is still a surprise to hear that the sound improvement isn't as drastic as it normally is.

What muffler do you run? A bigger muffler would sound louder under acceleration and cold start, but absorb the noise down low & at idle.

I think its louder than I give it credit for. Its my first 4 door. I think the distance from the tips to my ears is to far and it doesnt seem loud. It has to sound ok because people hear me coming. I have cai, custom gryphon tune, the cats and true dual exhaust. not trying to hijack thread but. Anyone recomend the next few steps for me.

What are other steps do you want? More volume? Only thing really TO do is get long tube headers

I read that headers weren't worth it. I would love the supercharger but my wife would kill me. Truck has a 103k on it, so I'm not sure if its worth doing stuff to it still. Been looking at a under drive pulley and maybe efans. Is a larger throttle body worth it?
