new exhaust as we speak

getting my true duals with magnapacks and x pipe...stock cats still, video and pictures this weekend

Sweet deal. When you aren't impressed with the quietness of it the cats you will need are at performance peddler part #94106. You will need only 2 of them to replace your 4 tank style stock cats. My '04 was quiet as a humming bird until I did some cat work.

it's 2.5"...i thought I'd cut the rear cats off after the magnapacks get broken in and if it's still too quiet then I'll go with the high flows. Congrats on the new pickup darren

If you remove the rears and can still pass emissions/inspection then go for it, no need for hi-flows if you do that as the front cats are basically hi-flow cats. Nothing but open catalyst.

Its too quiet so your cutting the rear cats off? Good. Well need a video afterword. Make sure to get a custom tune OR MIL eliminators to turn off the CEL that will come on after removing the cats.
