They're poorly made. I've installed them on friends trucks and they all broke at the necks of the mufflers.

Gibson

My experience with the Gibson swept side catbak systems have varied. I had the stainless system on my previous truck. It was good. Sounded ok but on the quieter side. On my current F150, I purchased the aluminized and it was ok, but only lasted 18 months before the tailpipe completely rusted off and got a small hole in the muffler.

My Gibson swept side experience was; 1. buy stainless it won't rust 2. you get slightly more power and slightly more sound in the lower RPMs, but if you really get on the gas, the sound dies out.

I ditched it and went for the stainless SI/SO Magnaflow system. It sounds deeper and more constant sound than the Gibson throughout the RPM range. I won't be going back to Gibson after my Magnaflow system.
