Cameras you use to record your exhaust

I finally have some cash and I want to know what kind of cameras you guys are using to make your videos. This loosely applies to this section because that's pretty much all I'm going to use it for.

This is mine:

Panasonic SDR-H40

It was a good little camcorder when I bought it but now it is dated like all electronics. I would spring for no less than an HD camcorder. External Mic preferable. When I was buying, basic HD camcorders were $1K plus.

Punisher, If you are wanting a new camera because you want it to have a mic that will pick up the sound better then I would just recommend getting a snowball mic. Do you have surround sound or good headphones? Listen to the vid in my sig. I recorded it with the webcam on my laptop but used a snowball mic. Snowball mic cost me about $80. Its a USB

I like the idea of using a laptop and standalone mic. Sounds like a better idea than shelling out a fortune for a camcorder.

I highly recommend the snowball mic.....
http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Microphon...1885164&sr=8-1

only $64 brand new.

It has 3 settings on the back so you can use it for anything.
Ive used it for my exhaust video, online gaming, and for recording my songs on guitar and vocals. It works great. No sense in getting a HD camera to show off your exhaust
