Black or stainless tips?

Alright gentlemen, Im going to dtart the mods to my truck by doing an exhaust. Im going to do true duals (Magnaflow X, Dynomax Bullets, all 2.5") and 45' them out the rear. Now I have an XLT which means chrome bumpers, but theres balck trim everyhwhere and Im going to be putting matte black wheels on it.. So the question is, should i accent the chrome or add more black? Either way I go it will be 4x18 slash cuts. Thanks for the feedback!!

Keep in mind that the side steps are gone.

I think the stainless would look better on your truck personally. IMO the only time black tips look good is when there is a definite black theme throughout the truck, and your truck doesn't really.. my .02..

Since you have chrome step bars go w/chrome, if you are thinking bout changing them sometime go w/the black.

He said the steps sides are gone. I would go chrome, and if you dont like it, you can take them off and paint them black.

I was gonna say black, but since you live in TX, road grime and salt from the winter isn't gonna destroy your stainless tips like it does up here haha. I'd go with stainless.

How about stainless tips with black painted pipes. That's how mine's setup and it looks good IMO. Tape around the tip for a nice cutoff of the paint and clean look.

If you plan to black out the bumpers, black, if you plan to leave them chrome, go stainless.
I know from experince chrome bumper and black tips dont match. (in the process of a black out. and i done my tips first, and they dont match at all right now.)

Seems like stainless is unanimous... I was thinking about doing a LINE-X two tone in black, but my brother in law has it, along with 50 other trucks where I live so I thought I would be original. Ill stick with the classic. Save the black for the guys with monochromatic paint jobs. THANKS GUYS! BTW Darren, Im copying your exhaust, sir. Hopefully I can get a good mix between yours and 4.6 punishers tone.. Both awesome.

Yeah yours sounds good, but I'm doing true duals. Essentially I want it to look like Darrens, but sound like 4.6 punishers.

I say stainless just because the needed to keep them perfectly painted with no dings or chips in the paint are an automatic turn off for me. Plus black tips only look right if absolutely every speck of chrome is gone.
