PCB-area Exhaust shop recommendations?

Hi.

Anyone have a current recommendation for an Exhaust shop in the Panama City / PCB / Destin area?

Thanks.

Don't use Mad Hatter over there lol. - Take a cruise man, - the Mad Hatter in Pompano Beach or Hollywood is allot better. Geeez, even I know that...

Thanks 'Brew - but I'd prefer to stay in the Pensacola-to-Tallahassee Panhandle area, instead of humpin' my *** all over FLorida.

You telling me there ARE no decent shops anywhere but the Atlantic coast?

Actually , it looks like a nice little ride down the coast. Just follow it all the way down. Some spots you can jump right on the beach, - for a little bird watchin ?

Okay, forget all that crap, dial in the performance tune, and fly

There's two shops, just a town apart once you hit Pimpino.

Nah, iduno man. I thought you were referring to Panama City Beach (PCB). I've heard complaints towards the Mad Hatter in that area. Just That one tho.

From the incredible number of endorsements, I can only conclude that:

1. Everyone in the panhandle with an F150 is running stock exhaust.
-or-
2. Everyone in the panhandle is a DIY'er.
-or-
3. Everyone in the panhandle who went looking fer a shop got bent over and/or are too 'bare-assed to cough up that they went to Midas.

Well, contact a speed shop around your area and inquire. A good speed shop SHOULD know of a good shop to do your pipes. At least with their referral you'll have some direction, hopefully.

MGD, I'm from Panama City and I know the auto repair community very well. There are three Mad Hatter's in Panama City and one on PCB. Stay away from the one on the Beach and the one on East Ave. The beach guy isn't very good and there is nobody at the East Ave shop that can custom bend pipes. The best shop is the one in Callaway. There's a black guy over there named Art. He's REALLY good. There a little mexican guy on 23rd St. that also does good work but I think Art is better. The other exhaust shops in town aren't really exhaust shops. They have that pre-bent pipes that just pop into the mufflers and out the back they go. They're cheap and cheaply made.

Let me know how it turns out for you!
