Glad i did a search on this air raid tube before i put up a post about it.
I was searching around to find something that would fit in the oblong air box opening so i could fab up a new intake tube and found this.
Definately much better looking than stock.
heres a link where you can get it for $105 & free shipping.

I ordered one as well.
I started to do the gotts mod on mine and had read some posts about others cutting the baffling off and thought about doing that as well.
decided ordering this airaid tube would be a better idea and look much better in the engine bay.
right now im running with the snorkel removed completely and have noticed a little better throttle response.
For those worried about alot of noise with the more open tube or even if baffles are removed, I dont think theres anything to worry about. I took a test drive with the entire intake tube removed from the air box and there was hardlky any noticable noise at all unless you floored it and even that was pretty mild to me.

I've been running mine with a k&n drop-in for about a year and a half. I noticed improved response and slightly deeper engine noise when accelerating but not as bad as a Cai. Only problem I had was the paint started coming off the silver badge.

Has anyone installed this unit in the colder climates, like Wis? If so did you have any problems with powder snow getting into the air filter and blocking air flow? I currently have the K@N CAI like so.http://www.autopartsnetwork.com/cata...150_year:2005_
And when we get the fresh powder snow it packs onto my filter and stops air flow. Don't get me wrong this CAI is awesome when it's 18* outside. But the powder is killing me.
