you mean an x pipe with dual bullets? or xpipe with a Di/Do magnaflow? and im almost set on running long tube headers, still collecting info on the 4.6l application performance wise though.

You can go X pipe with dual bullets or whatever SISO muffler you want, X pipe with a DIDO muffler with no built in X pipe, or a DIDO with a built in X pipe. All will perform the same, but the dual SISOs will sound better.

I would do something about your 4 cats. Best thing to do would be to chop all 4 of them off and run 2 high flow cats. If you do this, 18" mufflers would be good because you will be very loud.

im not sure but i think the truck only has 2 cus its got a custom exhaust on it now, they just didnt use stainless n its startin to rust out n theres no mufflers. its the weirdest exhaust ive ever seen. it comes from the stock headers to the cats to the y pipe then runs a singe tube till the end of the cab then splits into duals then exits out the back one on each side of the hitch.

You should have 2 pre cats and 2 rear cats. Unless the previous owner already chopped off the pre cats.

Get some tips. I have a 4" in front of the rear tire. After a few hundred miles the tone and sound improve as well. I love my bullet and the wife hates it. lol Score one for the good guys!

A little of subject, but has anyone ever tried to put the bullets at the very reay of the truck with some shorter tips? Just wondering how much that would effect the sound. The bullet will get louder with time.

Mine are where the oem muffler was located.

Still can't decide on where to exit but these turndowns are freaking loud in cab.
