duals?
duals?
I have an 07 4wd f150 and i wanna dual it out truly but some people have told me i will run into back pressure issues since there is one side with alot more bends then the other would an x pipe or h pipe fix this or will this be an issue at all? I have afe cold air on it and edge evolution i dont think I have enough air coming out of my truck to keep up with the intake so any ideas id like to dual it but dont want to cause one side to run leaner than the other and cause engine problems
Also what are your opinions on throttle body spacers?
Thanks in advance

If you're worried about running lean, you might want to take the CAI off your truck unless you have custom tunes to account for it on your Edge. Throttle body spacers are pretty much worthless. Stick with 2.5" pipes at max and you'll have no problems. Most people on here recommend an X-pipe over an H. Check out THE Exhaust Guide for all the information you'll need.

Check out the 2 links that I posted above and it should give you all the information you need. Be forewarned that it will take some time for your Edge to get upgraded and custom tunes written. They are a small company and they get a LOT of business. However, they are good at what they do. Just know you will have a wait. How long, I don't know. It varies from person to person and the current workload.
Also, check out the PHP forum for all the information you could want for Gryphons.
I also have 2.5" and noticed a VELOCITY and static pressure loss of low end power when towing a 6,000lb trailer. Runs fine unloaded, loves WOT, but stock manifolds. My backpressure rumble on a downhill decel is cool though I do like that, but the trans doesn't so much.
