Need some advice Please!

Well guys Im pretty new to this but here it goes. I have an '07 F-150 4x4 lariat 5.4. I have been doing a lot of reading on here about the "gotts" air intake modification. Is this the same as Installing an aftermarket CAI? Should I worry about my truck running to Lean if i do this?? And I just ordered a Diablo Sport Predator. I had planned on doing all of this together, but I have read on here that running a CAI on canned tunes is playing with fire. Is what I am planning to do a bad idea?? Like I said Im not a mechanic, and Im pretty new to doing anything to my truck other than regular maintenance. Any advice, help, or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Josh

The gotts mod will not cause your truck to run lean. Most people on here think the gotts mod is just as good, if not better than a CAI. In fact, a lot of people do not believe a CAI intake will give you significant gains, especially without a custom tune. If you're going to do anything, I would stick with the gotts mod rather than spending a lot of money on a CAI.

Best way to put it right there, simple, accurate, and informative.
