go with a dynomax bullet. they have a straight through design and have a deep agressive tone. of course you could straight pipe it because the 04-05's sound somewhat decent with that setup, but it's not recommended.

True dual dynomax bullets or true dual magnaflow magnpacks. 2.5" piping. Your spelling made me laugh

The JBA systems looks pretty impressive. Has anyone got any experience with these?

They claim to make 30 extra HP to the rear wheels???????????

I have the same truck and I just got my exhaust done yesterday I went with a SI/SO setup, I love the way it sounds. Just an idea if you don't want to do duals...

No duals, only if you want sound and high rpm sound. Otherwise, performance? You need a Magnaflow Y pipe, 3" exhaust mandrel bent with a Magnapack muffler for loud deep tone.

Bullet is pretty amazing, especially for how cheap it is. For some reason my hangar just broke in half today though, after I already had to put gasket sealant on the mount because Ford's ****ty metal broke earlier...What quality

So an exhaust hanger broke, big deal. You will see the true quality when your towing a load, or how the entire truck saves you from injury from an accident, or a deer.

Exactly.

Look into MBRP. Go on youtube and listen to some exhaust clips, it has a nice deep throaty sound to it especially when the engine is cold. The muffler is a straight through design.

I had catback(2.5") exhaust no mufflers, and I lost HP and torque. when I put a muffler back on I gained hp and torque back.

Bought an '04 FX4 middle of last year. Came with a single si/do FlowMaster. Sounds ok, but I would like to switch it out as well w/the DynoMax pieces.

Yeah...im sure you did

You need to realize that adding/deleting a muffler is not going to change anything other than sound. Thats what a muffler is. It MUFFLES sound. If you had dual 3" piping with dual 3" mufflers and you went back to stock and said you felt a difference...yeah...i would believe you. But that comment...no.
