Exactly how much will this cost?

Alright, so I recently came into some cash and I'm gonna get someone to put pipes on for me. I already decided what I'm going to be doing which is, straight piped, dual 4" tips 45'd out the back. Before I go to some local shops, it would be nice if you exhaust experts on here could tell me exactly how much this would cost in your mind, (pipes, labor etc.) I'm buying the tips myself, so I am also wanting to know a good place to buy quality tips. It shouldn't be too much work in my eyes, cutting the muffler off, and running a y pipe from that, out the back, but I've been wrong before. Any help or advice will be appreciated,
Thanks

At least run Bullets. Deep sound straight pipe volume.

I wish I lived closer to bowdon, but I don't. I called a local shop and he made a rough quote of $240 if he buys the tips and installs the pipes. The problem is, I only have $250, and when I go to his shop and he actually runs the numbers, it might be over $250, which I can't do. I saw some good prices on tips on ebay, but none that I actually loved.

Buy your tips from Performance Peddler. Code: clubgp. Tips, Labor, and Aluminized piping should be around $200. But I agree with Darren. Run a bullet or a magnapack.

I was out $100 for two tips , 20 ft of SS 2.5" tubing at $100/10 ft stick, and $50 for labor. You will use probably a litle more than one stick and aluminized is much cheaper..

Tell him 250 is all you've got to spend on it and if he can do it for that or less to set up an appointment for you. If not, tell him you'll have to wait.

I'll 2nd what rllackey said. You should be able to get the parts cheaper through performance peddler with the clubgp discount code. If he buys the parts, he will probably try to make a little extra on the parts cost as well.
