I've got nearly 3 years and over 50,000 miles on my obx system and no problems just make sure you get o2 extension for the upstream and good gaskets for the flange and you'll be set. I went with SCE full copper gaskets.

Thanks for the feedback on the OBX. I plan on having the high flow cats. Living in MA. big brother is always watching, and listening. So I will definitely need a new muffler. I guess this is one instance where 10 inches isn't enough. lol. I like the Borla sound and quality. Now I need to find the right one. It will be a quick fix. When budget allows I will probably upgrade again to some kind of x pipe true dual configuration. More homework.

Well - and if you didn't know already. -You can sell your factory cats to a salvage yard, for about the same price that a new set of high flows would cost you. So that's a wash basically.

The Dynatech system I was looking at had two highfows and a Y pipe and would bolt up to my Roush system, gaskets included. I have been told that the intermediate pipe that is supplied is crimped though. I was told to purchase some 3 inch tubing to create a less restrictive exit. So with a few feet of 304 and a new longer SIDO Borla, and the Dynatech system, and a tune . I should be able to grab a few more N/A ponies , and broaden my tourque curve.

Not unless your running a Blower or a stock system w/factory cats. That's when you run a 3" for the cat back. You need velocity and flow, they work together and you need the correct diameter pipes , to make it work for you. The wrong set up will cause gases to die in the pipes.

So, stick with 2.5 for the single when running LT's and HF's.

That's the easiest way to explain it.

What I was trying to say was . The Roush system has a 3" inlet . The Dyna tech intermediate pipe comming from the Y pipe is crimped so it isnt the full diameter. Replacing it with a piece that is 3" uncrimped will give a less restricted flow into the muffler.
