New Magnaflow setup...Lightning style?

Hello everyone, Merry Christmas to ya..

I have a question or two,
Right now, I'm running straight pipes with an H pipe up front and Hi Flow cats exiting 45 degrees through 4x18" tips. I'm fairly happy with the sound, except I want a little less bark, and a lot less drone on the highway. I got an 11" or so DI/DO Magnaflow for Christmas and I'm either going to replace the dummied out glasspacks with it and leave the tips 45'd....or run the pipes Lightning style before the rear tire.
If I go Lightning style, will the drone with the new Magnaflow muffler be anywhere near as annoying as it is with my current setup?
I will also change the H pipe out with a new stainless X pipe.

Thanks a ton,
Will

That muffler will sound a he'll of a lot better than straights. You could run your tips lightning style and it would still not be annoying like straights. I think you will like it.

I just had my lightning style magnaflow installed on my 07 screw 5.4 3v. I love it, no drone at all. It sounds more like a large V6 Note than a deep V8 grumble, but I love it nonetheless.
