do they make a dry replacement filter for the 04 intakes? or one that will swap out with the original?

Do you mean a replacement filter for the stock intake? Or do you mean a replacement filter for an S&B intake?

If you're looking for a stock replacement, check out Amsoil. Pretty sure they make replacement reusable filters.

Check S&Bfilters.com they might, I had put a S&B CAI on my 05 XLT, and it Really woke the motor up.

Just measure the dimensions and purchase a dry filter from AFE or AEM.

Go to the Amsoil site...they carry dry, cleanable filters for many CAI setups..just download the measurement sheet and match it up. Did that for my AF1 CAI before I took it off in favor of the Gotts Mod.
