So guys, I'm pretty much set on the Banks Monster muffler but would also like to run true duals. My concern is that that muffler only comes in a 3" diameter and running that diameter pipe in true duals would cause a loss in low end power. So my questions are; How much of a loss of power are we talking about? and would running 2.5" piping with a 3" muffler be any better of a solution? Thanks in advance fellas

 

3 inch duals will kill your low end. Go 2.5 or 2.25. Yes it makes a difference.

2.5 will sound a little better, where as 2.25 will give you max low torque.

 

I rarely tow anything right now, so I guess 2.5" it is. Thanks again!
