Intake temps

Hey guys, I tried searching but couldn't find anything about this. What are you guys getting for average intake temps? I guess a better question might be.. what is an ideal intake temp range? is there such a thing? I installed an edge evo (I know, I know.. don't hate on it to much).

There is no ideal - it's not something you have any control over - other than avoiding Washoobi effects. Aluminum tubing is the worst.

Cooler is better. Stop & go will incur heatsoak - no way around that. Heatsoak/elevated IAT's = pulled timing = less power.

right now in the cooler weather I'm usually only 10-15* over the outside temperature. In the summer temps tend to get out of hand, especially on days over 90* I have seen intake temps skyrocket to 25* over the outside temperature. This is with an S&B intake and PHP tuned gryphon... I tried to run a gotts intake with a custom tune and it was a complete joke.
