well definately stay away from the SLOWMASTERS! I agree with many of the posts and do true duals with an x pipe and your choice of mufflers and tips. I went from a flowmaster to dynomax bullets and i was very happy with my change sounds great and performs better. Good Luck!

Mufflers are any brand you like. Magnapacks are 4"x11" Magnaflow mufflers (Someone correct me if im wrong). Bullets are made by Dynomax and their the equivalent to a magnapack.

Xpipe does not matter as long as its stainless and the inlet/outlet diameter match your piping.

Tips dont matter but go to magnaflow and look at the tips and try and decide what style you like. Tips are all personal preference.

And for the piping, your shop will provide that and bend it themselves. Just tell them how you want it to look and they will weld it up.

I would suggest buying all the hardware of performancepeddler. i have been looking at their prices and such because im about to order my exhaust components and there ISNT a place around that can beat their prices. IMO i would go with 2.5" piping after speaking with others on here and doing a little research.

I bought a xpipe off ebay,2 dynomax bullitts and 2 18' long 4' outlet stainless steel rolled tips from summit.Had my local exhaust shop weld it all together for $200.All in all I have about $350 or so in the whole TRUE dual setup and couldn't be any happier with the resuls. Its absolutley perfect IMO.

You would prefer the bullets over magnapacks? Is there a specific size of bullet? Thanks for the help.

if your going true duals, go with magnapacks over bullets. 2.25" if you want to gain low end TQ and if you tow, and 2.5" if you want it to sound the best and dont tow much and want gains in the high rpm range.

That is my cart at summit racing, does everything look good? I know the x-pipe is good...but what about the bullets, do they have to be stainless steel? What about tips...what is a good length if I want them straight out the back even with my bumper? What is the difference between rolled? Is 4x18 to big? Thanks for all the help guys!

^ or 3.5. I prefer the 3.5, but 4" looks good too on some trucks.

Exhaust is personal and it depends on your preference as to what you should get. The best tool is youtube. I researched mine forever then came and asked a few questions and ordered my muffler a week later.

HOWEVER: since we all seem to be giving opinions here........I reccomend the dynomax bullet. I kept everything stock and its exactly what i wanted. This setup isnt expensive in fact its pretty cheap but by no means do i think it sounds that way and saving money is deffinatly not a bad thing.

this is the magnaflow muffler i have http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=9122
its a dual in dual out with a built in x pipe so i dont have to run a separate crossover and cost about 400 bucks. My set-up is true dual 2.5 inch pipe with that muffler and the 3 inch SS slash cut tips 45'd

To OP:

I just had my exhaust finished and i went with the 11" magnaflow mufflers. I DONT believe they are the magnapacks tho. i think they are a totally different muffler series from magnaflow. as for tip size i went with 4" straight out the back and it looks great. Sounds even better. I went with all magnaflow components including high flow cats. it has very little drone but sounds amazing on acceleration. im not sure stock piping size but i believe it is 2.25". i went with 2.5" because all the inlets and outlets on the components are 2.5" and i dont tow very much other then the occasional weight of my motorcycle in the bed.
