anyone using the 70 series flowmaster on the 2010 f150 5.4

Can't say I've heard any 70 series on any F150's. Probably because there are so many better choices out there than that.

my buddy has one on his excursion with a V-10 sounded awesome on that. never heard one on the 5.4

Sounds like a quiet Flowmaster. I suggest looking for a larger Magnaflow or Borla if you want great tone with no drone.

the only 70 series i have heard was on a 1996 dodge 2500 5.9 v8..and couldnt really hear it.

all borla mufflers are small unless you buy the kit.
every magnaflow i've had. came with drone. name me a big magnaflow muffler(si/so) that's real mild on the highway and does not drone and i might spring. the flowmaster is a tick louder than stock from what i hear. that would work for me.

Im using a pn 14856 maggie in place of my stock muffler and theres no drone though its a little quiet but has a deep tone until you rev up

OEM exhaust on 2009+ is a straight through design with minimal noise and no drone, if performance is what you are after, leave it as is. If grumble is what you want, 24" Magnaflow.
