"need" a new tip, which one though?
Hello All,
I need to buy something for my truck and a new tip seems like a good cheap fix. I have the chrome package which includes a chrome tip but I'm looking for something a little bigger in diameter.
My two concerns are sound and whether or not you'll be able to see the existing pipe after installing the two below. They are both 12" long. Does that length work?
So, which one? One's a rolled tip and the other dual wall.
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks Stu,
I just went out and measured my chrome tip and it's 3.25" so I'll definately have to look for a bigger one than 3.5. I'm going to pull it off when it cools down and measure the pipe again. I'm starting to think it's bigger than 2.5"

Fine Style, you're right,
2.75" OD. I just yanked off the tip and measured the pipe. Is that the measurement you use for sizing tips of is it I.D. which is closer to 2.5"?
Arghh.
