A 2.5" to 3" Y-pipe would still be best, but you would need another Y-pipe after the Bullet to have dual exits.
Here's a picture that I made a week ago for another member. Just pretend "Magnapack" means Bullet and that stick man isn't being a *****.
3" pipes for a SISO are just the best performing across the whole RPM range. The stock 2.5" pipes are good but offers no room for improvement.

That one was from Pace setter, -came with my LT purchase. Not sure what they cost.
