I've done some searching around and I'm looking for some short tube headers for my bosses truck. He has a cracked manifold and wants to put some shorties on as they are better quality. Hes not looking for performance nor a tune with long tubes. As I've never paid much attention to them I'm not sure what brand really has the best fit and finish for the money? I see Gibson makes some and JBA and maybe even OBX (which I have their long tubes). Any help would be awesome!

I vote OBX stainless!

 

JBA's are good, but pricey. Does OBX make a set of shorties?

well, knowing what truck/motor your boss has might help us out a lil' bit...



but with the minimal info we have (truck with desire for shorties) I also vote for the OBX shorty headers....

 

Oh sorry lol. 2005 5.4 4wd (although being shorties I dont believe that matters)

 

actually the 3 valve motors difer from the 2 valve motors, equal lenght VS un equal lenght and it sounds like the OBX shorties will be exactly what your boss wants
