Used search and cant find answer...HELP!
I have a 2008 FX2 SuperCrew with the 78in bed. It has the single exhaust that exits behind the right rear tire. What MagnaFlow part number is for my vehicle. Everything I'm looking at says SC (standard cab - I have SuperCrew) and SB (short bed - I have long bed). It should be easier than this, and the few threads I've looked at, that ask the same question, don't have a response. I don't get it. Help please!! Thx.
If you are referring to a catback exhaust, I don't think they made one for the 78" bed. I think the 78" bed was new to the CC in '08 and with the truck redesign in '09, Magnaflow skipped the 78" bed for their catbacks. At least that's what I came to believe when I was searching for a catback for my truck. Other companies make a catback for the 78" bed such as MBRP which is what I went with only in a SIDO variety. However, if you want Magnaflow, you are probably better off just buying the muffler you want and taking it to an exhaust shop to get welded in.

WTF? WHY THE BOLDED PRINT ??? We ain't Blind !

OP - just a muffler will net you ~75% of the gains of a catback ( the data ia contained in one of Jim Allen's posts) and is FAR cheaper. The more internal volume the quieter it will be. 5x11x22 2.5" SISO will work nicely.
EDIT - here, I found it fer ya: https://www.f150online.com/forums/4007591-post14.html
From this here thread: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ex...ep-single.html
Also - see post # 28 in the above thread...
IMHO - Put that money saved towards a custom-tuned SCT progammer; you will see far better tangible gains than from any exhaust upgrade alone.

I truly appreciate the responses. I was starting to figure something wasn't quite right with the part numbers. Don't know why they felt the 2008 wasn't impotant enough to make a catback for me....and sorry for the bold. I think it was more for me to be able to see. If you're not in your 40s yet, you'll understand someday..
i have an 06 super crew with the 6.5' bed. ford started building this config in 2006. i bought a jba catback for my truck and the system i ordered was for an extended cab 8 ft bed. i just cut the intermediate pipe that goes between the factory y and the muffler. everything else mounted up fine. just gotta trim the one pipe and youll be good to go.
