Gotts mod on 2005 HELP!!! PLEASE

I am wanting to do the gotts mod on my 05 5.4. I researched it and I found that everyones goes to the finder stock. But my intake tube doesnt, it goes behind my left headlight. Im not sure why its like that or can I do anything like the Gotts to it??? Thanks

Doesn't sound OEM. Have a photo? Sounds like an aftermarket intake.

how good is the airaid intake?? It has been like this since I bought it, I thought it was stock because an old man bought it new, then I got the truck from him.

its better then gotts. I would recommend getting a tune to adjust your A/F ratios correctly, since the 04-08 trucks are tuned lean from the factory

think about this. that airaid intake tube is just that, a tube. you might benefit from a high flow air filter like k&n or spectre. not sure what is in there.

but yeah, you'll have better results with your current setup than gotts. and tuner... definetley a must.
