Muffler Replacement

Ok. I have my Magnaflow's on the way. What is the best way to remove the welded in Slowmasters and install the real mufflers.

A sawzall with a good metal blade will be your new best friend.

x2. Buy a stainless rated blade, usually $17 for a pack of 4, you'll only need 2 blades if any cause one blade will do it as long as it doesn't bend.

And of coarse, make up pipe size difference. If you got a 14" Magnaflow you should have 1" of pipe over, just cut 1/2" off and use the other end for the outlet flare over slip-joint.

These are the best but harder to find now. Lowes used to carry them but don't anymore. The regular Lenox blades would be my next choice and you can easily get them at Home Depot or Lowes.
