2008 F150 Cat Removal?

Okay, so I have read up on several posts where people have successfully removed their front two cats and used the gotts02 mod to fix their sensors. Or something like that. My 08 only has two cats. Any ideas on how I can remove them and fix the 02 sensors? I will be keeping my flow50 on there. I just want my truck to have better exhaust flow at highways speeds and maybe better mileage and yes I am aware of the emissions issue... but Im not going to worry about that

Have you thought about high flow cats?

To do the removal of you cats just cut them out and replace the void with pipe and do the Gotts o2 mod to the rear o2 sensers.

Disclaimer Note: its against federal law to run a vehicle originally equipped with cats to go with out them and if you live where there's a state inspection then they might find them missing.

Hey man, I'm pretty sure you'll get busted during the yearly emissions testing if you delete your cats.... unless you know a guy, in which case, hook a brother up!

Swap the stockers for some hi-flows if you want to mess with them at all. Henry's Muffler Shop down by Millbrook and Atlantic should be able to hook you up.

That flowmaster will sound better catless anyway, IMO.

Is that a direct fit for our '04-'08 f150s? And those are high-flow? I only have 2 cats anyways, so that would be about 120 out the door and I could install them myself it looks like. I think they clamp on?

I don't know if they're "hi-flow" per se, but it looks like the recommended applications are all larger engine, higher horsepower vehicles like supercharged Corvettes and Lightnings.

It would stand to reason that cat is designed to handle a higher volume of exhaust gas than our standard OEM replacements.
