Don't mean to thread jack but whats the difference between 2.5 and 3in inlets? Is the 3in gonna be louder?

the exhaust pipe inlet/outlet size is 2.5". some people upgrade up to 3". im sure its a tad louder but not noticeably. you cant put a 3" IN/OUT bullet on your stock system.

generally just a muffler swap wont cause much. i too am looking to upgrade to a bullet. as long as you leave your cats alone there will not be a dramatic change.

because your stock inlet and outlet pipe to your muffler are 2.5". sure you could stick a three on there and make a nasty weld, but a 2.5" is whats supposed to be there. unless you upgrade your pipe from the cats back to a 3", you just need to use a 2.5".

The 12" bullet drones for sure, especially in the 2200 RPM range. Put the muffler as far back towards the bed as possible to reduce the drone.
