Magnaflow SI/DO $$$ Question

I quoted a magnaflow cat back SI/DO 14'' body, The guy said these are all stainless which is good but expensive. After install, weld in. My price quote was $689. Is this going to even sound what its worth? And are there some other cheeper alternatives that still have sound quality. THANKS

Buy a magnaflow catback kit, cheaper. A Roush Off Road catback exhaust is also cheaper.

Big understatement!

Buy the muffler and tips you want from http://performancepeddler.com/ and use the coupon code "clubgp". Then find a shop that doesn't want to screw you over.

I don't think my entire system cost me that much!

Not worth paying for unless its all t-304 stainless. Thats about the cost of a Borla cat-back which is better than Magnaflow.

Jared, is that the price for mandrel bent stainless? Still sounds a little high for a single in, dual out. Are you supplying the muffler and tips?

If I remember right, I paid around $200 for my si/do magnaflow muffler to be installed.

i got my exhaust done a month or so ago and it was around $360 and they got everything and installed it. They got a 40 seriers si/do flowmaster, 2 3.5x18in tips, and all the piping behind the y-pipe and installed it for 360.
