Amber color common ? (Magnaflow)

Friday the 28th I had the duel exit Magnaflow installed on my truck, and Saturday morning I had a 2 hour trip to the lake while towing the boat, and a 2 hour trip back from the lake with the boat. It ran hot and I could see the pipes were heating up, but the tips being stainless and only really have one day of use are now amber basically look gold/yellow.

Is this typical ? I know SS is prone to yellowing and requires some polishing now and again but this soon, this new ?

If this is the case, I will be dumping the system behind the rear axle, and just tossing some RBP black tips on the damn thing.

Common to happen. Cleaning stainless is better than replacing rusting chrome plated tips imo. Another benefit about true duals, pipes run cooler since the banks are divided after the X pipe.

NeverDul works quite fine when applied once or twice with a cotton cloth, and wiped off with an MF cloth. Handles little tiny bits of road tar even.

Thanks. Can it be found at Wallyworld or an auto parts store? Most online retailers are tacking on $10 or $11 to ship.......

Autozone and Advanced for sure, wally its possible, I never see it in mine but then again some stores are better than others by location and demand.
