Muffler Question

I am new to the board as far as posting but have been lurking for a while. I have a 2007 F150 with a 5.4L and want a little bit more aggresive sounds. I dont want anything that is real loud or can be heard in the truck while cruising. I have read through some threads and about come to the conclusion that a Magnaflow 22 inch oval is what would be best. Does this seem right or is there something else that would be better?

My next questions i, I just want to cut out the stock muffler and put in the new muffler. I crawled under the truck and looked and it looks like I would need some extra pipe and maybe the offset muffler to get it set up right? I have a little welding expierience but dont have access to a pipe bender. Is this something I can do myself and save some money or is it better getting a hop to do it?

Thanks for any help.

I think you found the muffler for you! 22" will be quiet inside and make a little more noise than stock. I suggest ordering the muffler and then having a shop pop it in there. It will be a painless procedure and shouldn't cost very much.
