Magnapack help!

Hey guys
I was wondering if I can run a 3" magnapack jus by itself dumPed out?
I would like to do it to my 06 5.4L. If I can. Any advice or input would be appreciated.

You certainly can. All you will need to do is get a hanger mounted on, or before the muffler.

You can just put a curve down dump on it, leaving it open would sound a little better, or going with the shortest dump possible. Adding a cheapo chromed tip will help it echo outside better.

If I have no turn down at all will it sound jus as good as puttin tips on?

Just about. Just be sure the outlet is past the cab or its an inspection fail. The purpose of the turndowns is to guide it behind the cab and angle the fumes down. They cut down the decibels a little while doing this though.

It will probably sound about the same, maybe a hair quieter with pipe and a tip behind it.

Ya I'm gonna try it without the tip first..I ordered it today so now jus have to look in to some hi flow cats!!!!
