Cool Single chamber Flowmaster muffler

I just put flowmaster cat back exhaust on my truck with a 40 series muffler and 4 inch chrome tips dual out.Sounds mint but i want it a little louder.I was wondering if anyone tried the flowmaster 1 chamber muffler, its also called the 10 series.

Never heard a 10 series, but I have first hand experience with 2 40 Series. If you want loud, think about possibly running 2 mufflers. Just a thought.

Replace your stock cats with Magnaflow 94106 cats. That will make it a fair amount louder.

Maybe not the 94106s though. Maybe something tamer if you only want a little more sound. The 94306 might be your best bet. Search the forum for 94306 vs 94106.

The Flowmaster Super 10 would sound much meaner and louder.

I've got that video in my favorites. Can't wait to hear it with 94106s on. How would you care the 10 series with the 40 series for people that want to know?

Its definately louder has more of a growl to it. Not to down size the 40 it sounded good just wanted something that had a more meaner tone to it.

How about your noise increase notice, what percentage louder would you estimate the super 10 to your previous 2 chamber.

If you want louder do the hi flow swap. If you love the sound of that 40, DO NOT go with a 10! It doesn't sound near as good IMO.

10 series

Your truck sounds good, pretty loud.Your neighbors must luv it.LOL.Hows the interior noise with that muffler.Do you still have that low tone like the 40 series when your not romping on it.In the video it does growl when you punch it.

Its really not that bad especially since i usually have the music up loud and windows down. Ill try to get one of the interior drone tomorrow. Well i had my old setup (SI/DO Original 40) put on at midas for 300 bucks. That was total cost for 4x18 Chrome Slashed Tips, the muffler, labor, and custom piping. They swapped the muffler for 30 bucks. And i bought the muffler myself was around 85 i think??
