LOUDEST exhaust???

i have a 94 f150 with the 5.0l in it. it is completely stock. i wanted to know the loudest exhaust setup to get. im a newb when it comes to exhaust. i do have a welder nd know how to weld. show me a good cat and muffler to have. i dont like the look of exhaust pipes to ill just have cut offs underneath.

also, does having the pipes coming out of the muffler facing towards the ground make it louder?

also does anyone make a CAI for this truck???

The loudest exhaust is no exhaust. But in San Francisco the cops will be all over that, and when they see you have no cats expect a monster fine from CA. So your best option is just a straight pipe after the stock cats.

ca laws suck. if cops look under and dont see a cat and/or muffler its a hefty ticket. would any muffler and cat work on my truck. or is there stuff that is specific to my truck/motor?

shorty headers ( since LTs may be out of the question in CA? ), leave the stock cats, 3" exhaust, Dynomax Bullet, Y pipe to 2.5" tailpipes with 4" tips over axle, or before passenger tire.

The cheapest way for you to have a loud exhaust that is CA legal would be to do a muffler swap with a SLP loudmouth 1 with a big tip before passenger tire or dumped over the axle. You cannot change out the cats legally, and shorty headers would add minimal sound with stock cats and would be a waster of $600 IMO.

No mufflers is going to be an emission fail regardless if its quiet or not, its a visual requirement.
