So I have decided I wanna go with true dual Dynomax Bullets 18" case length and x piped with them 45'd out the rear.

So my question to y'all is do you think that the 18" ones will sound good? I didn't wanna go with 12" b/c I didn't want something too aggressive but still good sound when I get into the throttle and a badass idle.

Do you think I'll have pretty good sound with this set up ? (5.4L V8)

 

yes absolutely it will be just what you want.

 

So you don't think it will be too nasty? I really want something that will turn heads but not be so nasty that I scare every deer in the woods when I go hunting

 

i believe it would sound great as well being 18" nothing overbearing

 

It'll sound pretty well with the stock 4 cats.

 

But if i wanted it to be louder/deeper later, would deleting two of the cats be beneficial?

 

For sure man. Easy ( with a friend ) and some small inspection stations will allow it since there is no CEL and the rear sensors are untouched.

 

Also the fact that SC has no inspections.

yeah I just found out today that a buddy of mine is a welder for a steel shop and he is doin my buddy's truck so we will see how his turns out first then he might do mine
