My brother has that those dynatechs, highflows, x-pipe, 11 or 12" (not sure which it was) maggie race bottles on on his lightning. The sound is better than sex really. Cellphones become obselete too, mind you his is dumped lightning style still and the sound proofing on the older models are near the same as the 04-08s. But long story short, its the best exhaust I've heard and it's LOUD. Couple tickets have come from that exhaust. Makes people swerve when you hammer on it beside them. Not your highway cruising friendly exhaust thats for sure.

WOW thats awesome man. Luckily I'm living in Vegas right now and the vehicle laws aren't strict around here. Would you happen to have a video of his exhaust or what? I can not wait to install mine now!

^^^ Bingo. Those look 100% exactly the same as the OBX ones I just put on my truck. Except I run no cats and had to do the o2 extensions myself.. Header, gaskets, collectors, y pipe all look like OBX.

Other then cats and the price tag the OBX is the extact same

I wish. Unfortunately I'm not even in the same country as him right now. Even if I were though, I'm afraid that between the two of us, we, nor our friends have a camcorder. Its seems strange now that I think about it, but then again pictures have always been the go to. Regular cameras have never demonstrated a very good ability at recording sound either. Hope you can post a video for all of us to enjoy though.

You installing these yourself or having a shop put them in?

Reason I ask is im getting a set of the OBX headers for my truck and moving to vegas for the summer before i go back to cali id love to have them installed for a decent price. Had a guy quote me out here at $175 for install and all welding flat rate. So 3, 5 or 10 hours in, its $175

$175 to install those headers and the rest of the exhaust system(labor) is a pretty good price imo.

My buddy who is a fabricator is installing them for me as well as doing my true duals. So he is charging me about 700$ to install everything, but that also includes all the piping for the true duals. So your price is really good my friend!

That's what I was thinking. Shop needs work, I need headers! reputable shop as well so at least I know (hope) the work won't be shoddy

Took me a whole day about 8-9 hours to do it on my own, I had to modify it to fit my already true dual exhaust system. I took a few breaks to eat and to give my arms a rest for a bit. Putting the headers in is no problem at all, however the old manifolds dont want to come out so easy.

Oh I also run no cats but with just my magnaflow center in center out mufflers (14") it was way to loud and raspy for my taste. It was to loud not even at the right times. Now I run a single 18" dual in dual out internal x pipe magnaflow and it sounds a heck of alot better, its still loud but now it sounds mean and the interior noise is very live able (as fatherford told me it would be! =)
