Well, need some advice

Well, i have The Gibson exhaust right now, it sounds really good and it's not as quite and weak as what people make it out to be. I was wondering, what if i cut out the muffler and ran straight pipe? but leave the stock cats? Would it be any louder and deeper?

Well, buddy of mine took out his muffler and has stock cats.. and it sounds really good.. not to raspy at all.. But, im thinking about just getting the hi-flow cats. Hoping i can get a video done this weekend to show people what Gibson sounds like when their good and broken in.
