That's the way I feel about my situation. I live in Houston, and the shop and most of my tools are at my parents shop there in Waco.

Harbor Freight closes at 8pm mon-friday I beleive.

Don't think there is much else you need to know that hasn't already been said. That passenger side is a *%&$*$(. I could probably do it in 4 hours or so now that I know all the tricks.

I was asking if you were an automotive student, because if so You can go ask Dennis Meyers if you need any help. He should remember most of what I did, as he is my father and was watching me do the do the install.

yeah my parents shop is in waco as well... well china spring but same diff. and im stuck here in the good ole LBK. no im not an automotive student i studied engineering for 3.5 years then recently switched to landscape arch. does your father teach at tstc? my buddy has an automotive degree from there

Yeah he is an instructor there..

Gotcha on the school. I saw Lubbuck/Waco so i figured you went to TSTC.

nope i go to TTU. although times like this i wish i would have gone to tstc,... or mcc,.... or heaven forbid baylor.... would have been a lot cheaper for me.

ok i bought some jack stands and are using them, starter is off, motor is jacked up and managed to get manifold off but now i cant get the header on lol. if its not the heat shield in the way its the tranny cooling lines, if its not those its the bell housing. any suggestions or am i just spose to man handle them till the go in

ok jacked the motor up as high as i could, and errr persuaded one of the header pipe to bend slightly different and still cant get the dang thing to go

ok finally got it, only to realize once it was there the motor had to be let back down for it to line up with the head. but its bolted down now, motor mount is back on, alls thats left to do is the cat and O'2s, inner fenderwell and the starter with that pesky top bolt

ok finally done. just took it for a test drive and really wish i could leave it just headers with hiflow's cause it sounds amazing. ohwell i have electric cut outs and the x pipe wont quiet it down a whole lot lol. thanks every one for all of the help
