2009 Magnaflow Question

I'm looking at getting the Magnaflow catback for my 09 Platinum, but was worried about the "drone" at sustained high speeds. I'm in Germany and commute about 100 miles a day between 85-95 mph.

Anyone with this exhaust, please let me know how loud it is before I buy. I really enjoy the quiet cabin and am hoping it won't be too loud.

Thanks!

I notice the drone at 1750 rpm's so at higher RPM's and or speed I don't notice it at all.
I'm defining "drone" as that loud in cabin sound or louder in cabin that outside. It's not bad but noticeable. I'm really enjoying my 18" Magnaflow.

This thing here is... The 09 has a different catalytic system than the previous trucks. The result is better performance, but a little louder as well. Your truck will be louder than LaneVines with the same 18" magnaflow muffler and stock cats.

You could just order a 24" muffler online and have a shop weld in a custom job.

there is no drone at high speeds in 6th gear with the 18" body... i have a si/do & its actually very quiet in high gears after 4th it's so quiet you can't really hear it... 1st through 4th gears it gets quieter in each gear.. but there is drone in 1-3 gears at about 1300 rpms to about 2000.. i dont think you will have a problem with a 18" body or bigger.. what system were you looking at?
